The British Museum, in conjunction with the exhibition Forgotten Empire: The Splendours of Ancient Persia, partnered with Magic of Persia in developing content for the Magic of Persia Education Programme for Young Audiences. During September and December 2005, an series of children's interactive workshops and classes were attended by over 1,500 students from both state and private schools. Additionally, the British Museum Family Day, in which over 15,000 people participated, was a multi-medium, interactive learning event that featured performing artists, films and storytellers.
