Storytelling Family Workshop

Part of The Parasol Unit Sunday Family Worshop series lauched in 2012, Storytelling for Families is a project that specifically promotes reading, writing and freedom of expression inspired by the importance of storytelling in different cultures.

The Autumn Series Storytelling Family Workship in partnership with the MOP Foundation offered a Saturday of Persian mythology and culture in a program featuring Aerial artiste of the spoken word, Xanthe Gresham performing sections of the epic masterpiece, The Shahnameh, accompanied by the remarkable Iranian musician, Arash Moradi on tanbour, setar, shourangiz and daf. Magical horses and birds, supersized heroes, and passionate adventures abound in a world of deserts, gardens, fountains and mountains.
